ANDREW SCHOETTLER

Andrew Schoettler is a drummer based in Guelph, Ontario, known for his groove-driven style and laid-back musicality. Blending elements of jazz, funk, and fusion, he brings a dynamic yet grounded energy to every performance. Andrew performs regularly across southern Ontario, sits on the board of the Guelph Jazz Society, and is the founder of the Silence Jazz Jam — a monthly event connecting local musicians in a collaborative setting.

 

With a degree in Mathematical Science and a minor in Music from the University of Guelph, Andrew approaches drumming with a balance of precision and spontaneity. His musical journey started without a clear reason — just instinct — but was shaped by a lifelong love of rhythm and the influence of a musical household.
